  • You guys knocked it out of the park!!!


    This accessory totally makes my Q3!. I just bought my Q3 and love the camera, but it didn't feel comfortable in my hand. The He3 handgrip makes the Q3 perfect for me. I can easily grip the camera, both the bump out up front and the thumb grip are perfectly placed for my hand. This is the best thought-out and executed accessory I have ever purchased. I can now use a wrist strap, or shoulder strap. I use the peak design straps. I can easily mount the camera to my tripod. The camera sits flat without tilting on the lens. The apple airtag holder is another plus. Congratulations on a well conceived and executed product. Much success in the future!

  • I have used grips from other companies on several of the cameras I have owned, including several variants of the Leica Q series.


    None have felt as comfortable, as satisfying and as fully-featured as the He3 handgrip from Helium Design Lab. The combination of hand grip and thumb support (optional but included) is flawless. I use both and hold my Q3 43 with absolute confidence. I also love: (1) the grip has a hidden pocket for an airtag; (2) the mounting screw has an anti-tamper design to protect the airtag from being removed; and (3) the plate includes a lug for use with a Peak Design hand strap. Of course, the plate is Arca-Swiss compatible. I so highly recommend this handgrip. It is sublime marriage of function and design.

  • What a wonderfully conceived and executed product.

    I purchased the He3 Handgrip for a new Leica Q3, and it was an absolute joy to use. It felt like a natural part of the camera, which added to the ergonomic feel of the Q3 for handheld photos, and with the use of the Peak Design travel tripod with the Arca-Swiss mount compatibility. The build quality of this handgrip is first rate, and the many thoughtful design details (e.g., SD card accessibility, Air Tag slot, base plate centering mark, feel of the thumb grip, etc.) help create a real pride of ownership over time as the benefit of these design elements becomes more apparent. Finally, I would like to applaud Ed & Hugh for the level of customer service/care they provided for my order. I was taking a trip to Europe in early April, and Ed was able to get the grip delivered to me just in time, so I could use it on my travels. Thank you so much. Many thanks Ed & Hugh for creating such a terrific tool for photographers. I recommend the He3 without reservations and with much appreciation.

  • One of my best investment purchases for my Leica 43, bought it before purchasing the camera.

    The concept of the AirTag integrated into the frame of the handgrip sealed the deal for me. Asked 4 of my nephews and daughter to take the camera without telling me which one took it, they did not know there is an AirTag in the He3 handgrip, so they took the battery to disable any gps or any camera integrated localization component, all I have to do was use my FindMy app on my phone and found it easily minutes later. The design that makes the He3 look like a natural part of the Leica Q3 43 is an advantage over thieves who might not know there is an AirTag you can insert in the He3 Handgrip.

  • I am 100 percent satisfied with the quality and functionality of Helium's new He3 Handgrip for the Leica Q3.

    I'm a professional photographer who shoots with the Leica Q3 and M11, the Hasselblad X2D and the Fuji GFX 100S II. The He3 handgrip is simply the best ergonomically designed and versatile hand grip for the Q3. Access to both the battery and SD card compartments completely simplifies transitioning from replacing my battery during a shoot or uploading my photos for post processing. One aspect I really like is its compatibility with Peak Design's Clip Mount. I was was an early adopter of the clip mount and having the option to quicly and safely attach my He3 handgrip to my backpack when out shooting urban or rural landscape is simply the icing on the cake. Well done to the design team for their product and well done to the marketing department for getting the word out about this great product.
